Social Media
Social media tools such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter are a great way to promote the club and its activities but clubs do need to understand how social media activities can have a positive and negative impact on the club. Tips and AU Sport guidelines on using social media can be found in the AU Sport Social Media Guidelines.

Club E-Newsletters
Are an important means of communication to club members and other interested parties; and can assist in the development of club culture. There are many free online tools such as ‘MailChimp’ that can help in the development of e-newsletters.

The Messenger

Having a story in your local paper is a great way to spread the news about your club beyond the walls of the University. The Messenger papers love to feature stories about local community events and achievements by members but inclusion in the paper cannot be guaranteed. Contact the local editor if you believe you have a story in which they may be interested.
