The Adelaide University Football Club is The World's Greatest and Largest Football Club, with 7 senior Men's teams that compete in the S.A. Amateur Football League every week, and 2 senior Women's teams that compete in the S.A. Women's Football League every week.
The club consists of over 350 players being registered every season, and varies from being serious in their approach to games, to being more interested in the social aspects of life.
Basically, it is a club for those who want to play the great game of Australian Rules at any level.

The Blacks are affiliated with the S.A. Amateur Football League (SAAFL), established in 1911, and the S.A. Womens Football League (SAWFL), established in 1991.

There are currently 7 Men's football teams that play the season in the S.A. Amateur Football League:
Div 1, Div 1 Reserve
Div 7, Div 7 Reserve
Div C1, C5 & C6
and 2 Women's football teams that play the season in the S.A. Women's Football League
In 2017, The Blacks will be looking at the possibility of adding to these seven Men's and two Women's teams with a further open age, more social Women's team, although this is still subject to confirmation.
MENS - Pre-season training has commenced, and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6.00pm - 7.30pm at Park 10.
- During the regular season, training is also on a Tuesday and Thursday night from 6.00pm - 7.30pm, split between University Oval and Park 10
WOMENS - Pre-season training has commenced, and is held on Monday and Thursday nights from 6.15pm - 7.45pm at Park 10
- Training during the season is on a Monday night at University Oval, and a Wednesday night at Park 10, from 6.15pm - 7.45pm

Boots, socks, shorts and Guernsey
In 2016, a Guernsey, 2x shorts (home and away) and socks could be bought as a bundle for $110. Separately, the prices were, Guernsey $60, Shorts $25 each, and socks $15 a pair. 2017 prices TBC.
Players are to source their own boots based on preferences, and all are encouraged to purchase a high quality mouth guard.
