The 2019 Vice Chancellor’s Cup was dominated by AUAC members Angus Haines and Olivia Sprodd. They both ran in a team with two staff members from the faculty of professions and for the first time in many years the faculty of professions came out on top.
The Vice Chancellor’s Cup is a 400m relay that starts on the Bar Smith Lawns, goes up the stairs and past The Hub to North Terrace, then back down the stairs past Naiper and Lower Napier to the Maths lawns and then back on the Bar Smith Lawns.
Gillian Hagenus, current club Vice president ran for the faculty of Arts and had an outstanding run, gaining heaps of time on the competitors during her lap. It was a very exciting day attended by a variety of staff and students with a whole range of activities for everyone to get involved with.
